There are so many volunteer opportunities at New Hope Leeward!  Whether you have just a few minutes or an hour; or you have some or no experience at all, there is a place for YOU!  Take that step of faith and watch how the Lord will use you to make a difference, not only in the lives of those you touch but also in your own life!  Here are some options to choose from.  If you have any questions or need help deciding, contact us at 678-3778 or stop by the Connections Concierge Table before or after services.

Concierge

Are you a people person?  Put on a smile and come help us keep our church ‘ohana connected by serving at the Connections Concierge Desk.

Décor

Do you love interior designing or do you enjoy trying different things to bring a room to life?  You’d be perfect for this ministry!

Drama

If you have a knack for acting consider auditioning for our drama team.  This amazing team specializes in supporting our weekend service message!

Facility Maintenance

We provide maintenance and repair services for the Leeward Ministry Center facility.

Greeters

All you need is a smile and a love for Jesus to be a part of this ministry!  Let’s welcome our neighbors and ‘ohana with warm smiles as we provide them with bulletins and name tags.

Hospitality

Help prepare and serve food that God has blessed us with for our church ‘ohana.  You can serve on Sundays, Saturdays, or during special events.

Keiki Zone

Interested in making an impact in the lives of our future generation?  Partner with us in raising children who will discover Jesus Christ.  There are many areas to serve in and we’ll find a place for you.

Levites

No special skills necessary, merely a willing heart to help while fellowshipping with a great team of people.  Join us as we prepare and setup for services and events.

Missions

Cross-cultural outreaches include partnering with international Christian Churches by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through creative styles such as dance, drama and other activities.

‘Ohana Pantry

This is a tight-knit group of folks who all share the same passion: feeding those in need by delivering bags of groceries to their doorstep

Outreach

We are committed to making an impact for Jesus in our neighborhoods by serving their needs and reaching outside of our church walls with His love.

Parking

A cheerful parking attendant makes an exciting first impression on our Leeward ‘ohana.  Shifts are approximately one hour.  Join our team!

Prayer

We provide intercessory prayer for weekend services and special events.  We also provide prayer blessings over the grounds and sanctuary.  E-mail intercessory prayer, teaching, administrative work hospital and nursing home visitation opportunities are also a part of our ministry.

Production

Join the “invisible” team that assists with stage prop settings.  We work to ensure smooth transitions for a distraction-free service.

Tech

Our team ensures that our church ‘ohana gets the most out of our service program by maintaining great sound quality, creating lighting and visual effects, and capturing video on the large screen.  No experience necessary!

Truth Resources

We provide tools and resources with our “mobile bookstore” at all three campuses.

Ushers

We assist directing and seating people with a servant’s heart and in a personable way.  We also handle various situations or needs as they arise.

Video

Our team provides image-magnification and broadcast coverage of weekend services and special events through the use of cameras and live switching.  We set-up, shoot and take down equipment.

Worship

Use your musical gifts in worship and in glorifying God through song and instrument!

YES!

We provide a bible, prayer and support for those who have just accepted Christ during our weekend services.  Won’t you join our team and help welcome those into God’s Kingdom and church ‘ohana?
